With tech integration and the ease it has provided, educators have started using various apps to keep their work in hands and mobile.

Used for many purposes, educators have some favorite apps that help them look after their work easily and on the go.

Below is a list of mobile learning apps that educators love. Check it out!

1. Udemy

This tool is loved by kost t5eachers for its course library. Udemy skips to the good part by simply being a library. Out in the market as “a global marketplace for learning and teaching online,” Udemy is an open course library you can use to craft or add onto your eLearning courses. Teachers can easily assign courses to the students and let the pre-made lessons and assignments do the rest.

Udemy is free, with many free courses, but some of the courses may charge.

2. Edmodo

If social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter don’t provide enough privacy for discussions and sharing classroom materials, Edmodo might fill that gap because it specifically targets teachers hoping to work closely with their students online.

3. Popplet

Mind map out those presentations and papers with Popplet, a quick and easy tool for visualizing how everything could fit together for the most effective and memorable lectures imaginable.

4. Filemaker

Developed for iDevices, this app streamlines the project-planning and creating process, as well as serving as a pretty nifty little general organizer.

5. BlackBoard Mobile

Because so many online courses rely on Blackboard for distributing the necessary materials and conducting the necessary assessments, downloading the app should be essential for remote students.

6. Wolfram Alpha

Wolfram Alpha works as an amazing search and computational engine specifically for scholastic pursuits, bringing back returns regarding pretty much everything students need to know about their desired subjects.

7. myHomework

Even though an online education grants more autonomy than the traditional classroom structure, students still need to stay organized and on top of their homework assignments.

8. Chegg

With this app teachers can easily rent the necessary textbooks from the comfort of the iPhone (sorry, Android and Blackberry users!) through this popular money-saving service.

9. Attendance

Educators with iDevices love this app for doing exactly what the name says it does – assist them in keeping track of what students attended what classes when.

10. iAnnotate

Making notes, bookmarking, and highlighting is inevitable in academia – or, at least, in academia where work actually gets done – and this offering renders the process easy when it comes to PDF files.

11. Dropbox

Thanks to the magic and wonder of cloud computing, professors on the go can access their files from other devices they’ve connected to their personal networks, meaning they never leave an important digital document at home!

12. StudyBlue

Create, store, and share notes and flashcards online and via a mobile application perfect for studying from pretty much anywhere.

13. Cliqset

Social media forms a major component of many online classes, and Cliqset makes it easier for educators to update and keep track of them all in one convenient spot.

14. Howcast

Learn how to do pretty much anything thanks to detailed step-by-step videos; they offer up information on multiple educational topics, meaning students will likely pick up some interesting tidbits here.

15. SkillPill

SkillPill is a mobile micro learning platform for short educational videos focused on corporate learning. Choose from a wide library of pre-made animated shorts on a variety of workplace education topics, or commission them to build custom videos for you.

This mobile learning app is free with the option to pay for an increased video library.

16. TeacherKit

This app serves as an educator’s personal assistant in many ways, keeping track of nearly everything they need to stay on task, record grades and attendance, and plenty more – but only for iDevice owners, unfortunately.

17. Instapaper

Perfect for educators who just can’t recall the websites consulted for research purposes, this resource saves pages so they can read them anywhere and everywhere.

18. Feedly

With this tool, educators can stay on top of relevant blogs and other online reading resources needed for their work through simply organized lists on iDevices and Androids.

19. Mendeley

Professors inundated with research (and in possession of an iPhone) download Mendeley to keep their research compiled and organized, as well as network with other professionals and educators.

20. Google Apps

No list is complete without the mention of Google tools. More of a spacious suite of multiple apps rather than just one, these offerings by Internet king Google enhance any classroom with access to an Android, iPad, iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Phone, or other mobile gadget.
