According to an official statement, the programme is curated for mid-level working professionals to accelerate their career trajectory. It aims for students to embrace skills pertinent to the data science domain. This ten-and-a-half-month, part-time program includes 228 hours of live sessions. The learners will get deep experience in the core data science tools, techniques, and methodologies industries use to make critical decisions.

The partnership aims to provide comprehensive career services, including placement assistance. As part of this programme, there will be instructor-led classes by University of Chicago instructors, an orientation session with the University instructors and access to UChicago content for six months post-completion. Students can gain hands-on experience in their chosen field and develop communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork skills. With the help of experienced faculty members and a supportive learning environment, students will explore their potential and achieve their academic goals.

Speaking on the collaboration, Founder & CEO of Hero Vired, Akshay Munjal, said:

At Hero Vired, our top priority has always been our learners, and we are committed to equipping them with critical skills and knowledge they need to prosper in their careers. That is why we are thrilled to announce our partnership with the University of Chicago, one of the world’s most influential institutions of higher learning. We will jointly deliver advanced analytics capabilities to our learners and keep them at the forefront of the rapidly evolving field of data science.

Munjal added:

We are confident that this collaboration with the University of Chicago will be instrumental in helping our learners achieve their career goals and stay competitive in today’s data-driven landscape.

Hero Vired aims to transform the skilling landscape in India by creating programmes delivered by leading industry practitioners that help professionals and students enhance their skills and employability. The platform offers courses through live classes provided by academic experts who help create well-rounded professionals. By pursuing its courses and certifications, learners will gain an engaging and holistic learning experience which will help them empower to transform their careers.

In addition, learners will connect the dots between Python, statistical models, predictive modelling, and deep learning to yield profound insights into analytical problems. Also, comprehensive knowledge about data warehousing, engineering, and cloud computing will give them the tools they need to work more effectively and meet the growing demand for data analytics expertise in the workplace. Throughout the programme, learners will complete various assessments and projects to evaluate their level of knowledge and proficiency.

Mary Morley Cohen, Managing Director of the University of Chicago Professional Education, added:

Our collaboration underscores our commitment to providing world-class educational programmes that are academically rigorous and relevant to industry needs. With Hero Vired’s expertise in India’s digital economy and our University’s deep understanding of data science, we are confident that this programme will equip the learners with the skills they need to lead an increasingly data-driven world.
