PrepInsta, India’s number one and most visited website for placement preparation and a rising EdTech platform, has announced its partnership with Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), Visakhapatnam. The collaboration aims to equip the upcoming generation of engineers with job-ready skills. An official statement said that both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), cementing their long-term commitment to each other until 2024.

As part of this partnership, over 2500 engineering students have been brought on board to enhance their employability through placement preparation courses. This will help them secure job opportunities with their desired companies. GITAM will benefit from a single point of contact (POC) for training and placement preparations, providing significant advantages.

Speaking about the association with GITAM, Co-founder & CMO of PrepInsta, Manish Agarwal, said:

With our innovative learning solutions and personalized support, we intend not only to help GITAM students succeed in their chosen fields but also to make them a medium to foster a meaningful impact on the educational landscape in India. As this partnership marks an important step towards addressing the skill gap in the engineering industry, we hope it will inspire other engineering institutions to work with us towards a common goal of empowering the next generation of engineers with industry-ready knowledge.

Founded in 2018 by Atulya Kaushik, Aashay Mishra, and Manish Agarwal, PrepInsta leverages digitization to help bridge this gap and provide solutions related to academic learning and professional development. The startup strives to address the skill gap issue in India by providing skill-based learning through its product PrepInsta Prime which enables students to get placed in their dream company. It aims to provide a comprehensive environment to become a one-stop destination for placements by different reputed companies for college students and help them with many rounds conducted in the placement process. The company has two offices, one in Noida and the other in Bengaluru.

According to the statement, PrepInsta intends to address the skills gap among prospective students at the GITAM Visakhapatnam campus by providing courses such as ML/AI, Power BI, and Cybersecurity. These courses aim to help students acquire the necessary skills to succeed professionally. Students from GITAM will also be granted exclusive access to PrepInsta’s website, which will aid them in preparing for job placements with product-based companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, and service-based companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, etc.

GITAM aims to bring life to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of an institution for higher education that transcends all barriers. The institute strives to emulate the ideals by creating equitable learning opportunities and offering its students an intellectually stimulating environment in which to learn and grow. GITAM’s leadership works to guide the institution to reach new levels of academic excellence through the pursuit of research and promotion of innovation to create a new generation of leaders in every field.
