Simplilearn, the world’s leading online bootcamp for digital skills training, has launched its first offline centre in Delhi’s suburb of Noida. According to an official statement, the offline experience centre will provide aspirants with personalized counsel to identify the most suitable upskilling programmes to enhance their learning experience and help them achieve their career goals.

Simplilearn aims to launch similar experience centres in Gurgaon, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai in the days ahead. At the centre, the learners will be given a 360-degree view of various programmes offered by platform. The statement further mentioned that experienced professionals will be stationed on the ground, dedicated to helping learners achieve their career aspirations.

The latest development aligns with the company’s more extensive expansion plans. The Noida centre will strengthen its market presence, enabling ease of access for learners through an on-ground touchpoint.

Speaking about the initiative, Co-founder & CEO of Simplilearn, Kashyap Dalal, said:

Digital upskilling continues to see demand among professionals of every age, designation, and demography. Every year, we welcome thousands of learners across India and globally to the Simplilearn fraternity, all of whom share a common vision – the quest to be successful in a highly competitive industry. That said, programs at Simplilearn are designed keeping in mind current industry requirements and are aimed at creating a job-ready workforce. As we grow from strength to strength, the launch of our physical centre is a move towards connecting with our learners at a personalized level to understand their career goals and counsel them appropriately.

Dalal added:

We understand the importance of having a personalized approach to connecting with learners. As we return to pre-pandemic normalcy, we look forward to interacting with aspirants in-person to provide upskilling counsel. We aim to streamline and strengthen our learner experience with the Noida and other upcoming centres, helping aspirants select the most suitable learning program that merits their professional journey.

The startup claims that it has witnessed a 45% increase in year-on-year growth in FY23. The Data Science and Coding verticals are among its most opted courses, followed by Cyber Security and Cloud Computing verticals.

Founded in 2010 by Krishna Kumar, Simplilearn aims to transform lives by empowering people via digital skills. The platform offers courses across domains like data and artificial learning, programming, cloud, and digital marketing. It has tie-ups with American universities such as MIT and Caltech and businesses such as IBM, Microsoft Azure, and Facebook. The firm conducts over 3,000 live classes, with an average of 70,000 learners who spend more than 500,000 hours each month on the platform. Its programs allow learners to upskill and get certified in popular domains.

In 2021, global private equity firm Blackstone invested $250 million in Simplilearn for a controlling stake. It picked up over 60 per cent stake in Bengaluru-headquartered Simplilearn, one of the oldest firms in the online higher education space. Last year in November, the company raised $45 million in a new funding round led by GSV Ventures at an undisclosed valuation.
