India’s leading early learning education technology startup, Creative Galileo has recently announced the launch of Toondemy – an educational learning app for kids aged 3-10 years. The app, designed by experts, brings together leading Indian and international kids’ characters on one platform to deliver outcome-based compelling learning modules through rich animated videos and interactive games to practice follow-on modules.

Founded by Prerna A Jhunjhunwala and Nikhil Naik in 2020, Creative Galileo is a character-based early learning platform that brings together the best of education and entertainment to create personalized integrated learning experiences for young minds. To provide a fun and interactive curriculum for children globally, the platform has forged over 20 industry-leading partnerships with content studios in various international markets.

The app offers both digital and physical features. To reinforce concepts and for a hands-on learning experience, the company will provide kids with a kit of personalized worksheets and books as part of its subscription model. Parents can monitor their children’s progress and plan their learning journey.

Speaking on the announcement, Founder of Creative Galileo, Prerna Jhunjhunwala, said:

With Toondemy, we are creating a phygital (physical and digital) ecosystem for children. While our digitised content mapped to the school syllabus will offer digital learning, our practice worksheets further strengthen children’s concepts. We soon plan to introduce Toondemy Academy – a collaboration with schools to share, develop and implement modules to enhance and help reduce learning gaps.

With Toondemy, Creative Galileo has marked its second launch after the success of Little Singham- Kids Early Learn App, with ~ 1 crore downloads.

In 2021, the firm had announced its partnership with Periwinkle by Jeevandeep Edumedia, which focuses on creating engaging and thoughtful content for children based on global education standards.

Creative Galileo had raised $7.5 million in a Series A funding round from Kalaari Capital, Affirma Capital, East Ventures, Valiant Employee Investment Fund, and a slew of other angel investors, last year in July. To date, the startup has raised $10 million from VCs in India and Southeast Asia.
