Fearless+, a New York-based career prep platform, has recently raised $1 million in its pre-seed funding round.
Wray Thorn led the investment round, along with financing from ex-Two Sigma Ventures (now Clear Heights Capital). Angel investors including the Dimond Family Office, Linda Mintz, Sheila Baird, Mohit Daswani, Tom Grossman, Sandy Hausner, and Vlad Brodsky also participated in the funding round.
Founded in 2020, Fearless+ empowers the next generation by reimagining how young people prepare for their future with college and career opportunities, elite mentors, and workshops to learn real-world skills outside the classroom. It is on a mission to help the next generation prepare for personal and professional success by providing them with a digital platform to share their story, access to resources, and opportunities to grow and develop.
Eschewing the traditional “6-second” resume, Fearless+’s proprietary algorithm identifies and showcases the soft skills of students who have not yet entered the workforce, offering employers and recruiters the means to authentically engage with a new generation of talent.
