Psychology, the branch of human mind studies, can narrow down these quests.

Even fields like law, social science, philosophy, etc., have psychology as part of the course or study. With the pandemic and other uncertainties and considering the diverse backgrounds of the job applicants, recruiters nowadays prefer doing psychological evaluations to assess candidate fitment.

YouTube is a great place for informal learning and has a wide range of videos that can help you understand virtually any topic. Here’s a list of the best psychology YouTube channels to help you understand psychology and its related fields and feed your passionate minds.

1. BrainCraft

Vanessa Hill is the woman behind this channel. She is a behavioural scientist and science communicator. This channel will take you through what goes on in your mind and impart crazy knowledge good enough to apply in your life. The channel features informative content around neuroscience, tips on working from home, personality studies, attention problems, behaviour problems, creativity, sleep technology & more. You can also find “brain games” that are a must-try from this channel.

2. Psych2Go

Started back in 2017, this channel aims to create awareness around mental health challenges and let people know they are not alone. The best part about the content on this channel is that it’s easy to understand and relatable. The animations used in the videos make all the information engaging. By the end of the video, you’ll find yourself in a pool of knowledge and awareness about mental health challenges. You’ll find amazing videos on personality theories, mental health disorders, busting myths, and other relatable stuff aligned with your daily life. The channel also features quizzes and a brain teaser.

3. Practical Psychology

While most enlisted channels cover a broad scope of the subject, this one does what it says. You’ll find different, relatable and practically helpful content here. The channel covers financial tips, abandonment issues, theories of aggression, self-perception, blackmail, emotional well-being, cognitive psychology, social psychology and much more. What sets this channel apart is that all the videos are whiteboard-animated videos that’ll keep you hooked.

4. Doctor Ali

The man behind this channel, Dr Ali Mattu, is a clinical psychologist who’ll equip you with the right information, so you better understand your thoughts, actions and feelings.
