Be Calm on Ahway Island
As the name implies, BE CALM ON AHWAY ISLAND with each episode to help the listener relax and fall asleep. Through this podcast, the narrator conducts a comforting routine by ensuring the lights are off and that the child has a blanket or “listening companion” while they start the 5-10 minute meditation.
The children follow breathing exercises, taking “Deep Dragon Breaths” as they think in a place of relaxation. Children’s Hour is a one-hour public radio variety program aired weekly. Each short segment focuses on civic education, STEM, culture, performance, and others with a long song. Songs introduce its listeners to a wide variety of “kindie” music – clean, with positive messages and good vibes, suitable for all ages and often young artists. Heavy music with songs accounts for at least half of the material.
In the pre-covid era, the performances were recorded live; since then, they have been made on Zoom.

Shaped by more than thrice Emmy-winning journalists, KidNuz is a 5-minute daily news podcast with kids in mind. This podcast provides briefings on the day’s top stories appropriate for kids ages 8-14—which means child-friendly sessions, no talk of murder, terrorism, assault, or anything else that could be gruesome for children.
