With this collaboration, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT services, consulting, and business solutions, will become a strategic partner of TMRW to drive best-in-class learning experiences to learners in the K-12 education sector.

Through this partnership, TMRW will leverage their all-in-one integrating Learning Operating System (LearnOS) to bring together the entire spectrum of education and school operational elements under one unified umbrella, with TCS providing consulting services, implementation, managed services, and system integration capabilities to schools throughout the world.

TCS Education Unit will lead as the Consulting partner and Systems Integrator for TMRW’s platform and will invest in creating a knowledge repository for TMRW’s products and services. This includes establishing a Center of Excellence within TCS, which will be used to share expertise and new perspectives on the latest technology trends and innovative solutions. The center will act as a bridge between TMRW and TCS, building on each entity’s decades-long legacy in education and technology sectors, respectively.

Founded by Sunny Varkey, TMRW is an independent EdTech entity of GEMS with a vision to make quality education accessible and affordable. The company’s target is to create an operating system that will support learning and teaching, as well as all the operational needs of K-12 education, higher education and life-long learning. It will be global education’s Learning Operating System (LearnOS).

Speaking on the partnership with TCS, Chief Executive Officer, Krishnan Gopi, said:

“Tata Consultancy Services brings decades of experience leading the digital transformation of organizations around the world. This makes them an ideal partner for TMRW’s platform, and to develop joint expertise on the latest and best in edtech.”

Gopi further added:

“The COVID-19 pandemic has propelled the adoption of technology in the classroom. Although edtech offers tremendous potential, our new Centre of Excellence within TCS will help educators become more aware of the latest tech at their disposal, and how it can make a difference in the lives of young people.”

Tata Consultancy Services has been partnering with many of the world’s largest businesses in their transformation journeys for over 50 years. The company offers a consulting-led, cognitive powered, integrated portfolio of business, technology and engineering services and solutions. This is delivered through its unique Location Independent Agile delivery model, recognized as a benchmark of excellence in software development.

A part of the Tata group, India’s largest multinational business group, TCS has over 556,000 of the world’s best-trained consultants in 46 countries.

Commenting on the latest development, Head, Education Business of TCS, Ankur Mathur, said:

“We are delighted to partner with TMRW to help schools across key geographies transform their entire spectrum of educational operations. This partnership brings together TCS’ technological expertise and TMRW’s industry experience in education to help schools adapt to renewed and digital learning methods and provide an enhanced learner’s experience. It further strengthens our commitment towards partnering with leading EdTech companies to help digitally transform the education sector.”
