According to the company, it will use the fresh capital for business expansion, additional course offerings and strengthening other initiatives. Gurusiksha is also planning another Series A funding round later in the year since their next mission is to cover Tier-II cities with their qualified, vertex mentors and hybrid learning methods.

Founded by Dipak Jha, Gurusiksha is a fast-growing, online tutoring and mentoring platform where students are provided with guidance from teachers in specific subjects. The platform focuses on providing the students the best online tuition classes from the best mentors of the state. Its online tuition classes are very easy to get and very affordable in rate. The best teachers of the state will get in touch with the candidate to prepare them well for all upcoming exams including all the school level competitive exams from class VI to XII.

Gurusiksha aims to focus on creating a network of educators in India. Its newly launched online app version can be easily accessible to provide help to the students at any place at any time.

Currently, the company claims to enroll students in various courses depending on class, boards and curriculum along with test papers, assignments, study materials and various other learning management system (LMS) activities. It also aims to bridge the gap between mentors and students and offers online and offline assistance to students.

Gurusiksha has changed the concept of the educational marketplace of India. From the perspective of a student, it provides qualified and professional teachers, as well as monitoring a teacher’s point of view, the startup offers verified student connections, so that it will be easier for them to convert tuition. At present, the firm claims to operate across India, focusing on Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Mumbai.
