The Gurugram-based EdTech startup has also announced its plans to upskill over 1000 students in the next two quarters.

Geekster is an online career accelerator to help engineers skill up for the best tech jobs and realise their true potential. It offers tech courses that include full-stack web development and advanced web development. It also provides students with the pay-after-placement offering. The startup claims to train about 300 aspirants through its programmes while achieving a 95% placement record of the total aspirants.

Founded in 2020, Geekster is on a mission to help people build great careers. The startup aims to democratize tech education with no physical, geographical or financial barriers; offering students with skill-based programmes at zero upfront cost and providing them with complete placement assistance. Students can learn online from anywhere and do not have to pay till they get a well-paying job with a leading tech company.

According to founder Ankit Maggu, Geekster is witnessing a great turnout by corporate for its tech programmes. Speaking about the platform and its plans in near future, he said,

“We are witnessing a great turn out by corporates, as now they are clearly seeing the value proposition in hiring trained tech talent. The whole idea behind Geekster is to bridge the skill gap for students and offer trained talent to employers, thus creating a win-win for all stakeholders. The aspirants trained through our platform are performing well for employers, and thus due to word of mouth, we are witnessing a high demand from corporates for our trained talent. Also, many of our existing partners have already shared hiring requirements in high numbers, and thus we are looking to upskill over 1,000 students in the next two quarters.”

Geekster’s courses are designed by industry experts, and it provides live online classes, personal mentorship, doubt-clearing sessions, live projects, career coaching, soft skills training, mock interviews, and lifetime job assistance to its students.

Besides upskilling over 1000 students, Geekster has also announced its plans to increase manpower by 50% in the next two quarters.
