With the new financing, the Australian startup will be focused on improving the platform as much as possible, and on building out both the network of gurus and the certification programs the startup supports.

Founded in 2021 by Amit Choudhary, saasguru is a SaaS & AI-based marketplace providing certification exam preparation solutions. The platform also offers interactive and personalized support to help prepare learners for specific qualifications, in Salesforce or AWS cloud technologies, including an initial benchmarking exam, tools that adapt to the individual’s learning style and knowledge gaps, and a gamified platform showing how they stack up against their peers and offering challenges.

saasguru’s mission is to solve the cloud skills crisis by creating the bridge between learning and certifications. The company is working towards making an impact beyond learning. saasguru aims to build a community of employers, gurus and learners contributing to each others success.

Since its inception, the startup claims to have more than 5000 users across 20 countries, with numbers growing by about 50%, month-on-month.

Commenting on the funding, Principal Investor of Square Peg, Lucy Tan, said, “While it’s early days yet, “saasguru are proving that tailored, quality education delivered at scale, can transform a company’s ability to unlock the power of software.”

The company believes in the power of collective action to change lives. Through its “Be the change” initiatives, the platform is supporting programs across the world to help people from a situation of disadvantage change their lives with the power of cloud skills and certification.

saasguru also creates outstanding careers for millions of cloud professionals globally. It helps thousands of companies upskill and create talent for growth.
