Built in association with an international platform and aligned to the KLAY curriculum, Learn@Home, launched in June 2020, offers a blended learning model with the right mix of online learning and offline activities to keep the learning on even when schools are shutdown owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Taking into account the struggles of families during the pandemic, Learn@Home ensures that children receive adequate physical and cognitive stimulation and keeps them constructively engaged while parents attend to their commitment at work and/or home. With the objective of continued learning for children, Learn@Home follows the principle that active collaboration and forming of emotional bonds through human interaction make for the best learning experience for children of these age groups. It gives the children an opportunity to interact with their peers and teachers to ensure the holistic physical, social and emotional development.
Powered by KLAY, the learning philosophy is based on 7 multiple intelligence-s and 5 skills because different children learn differently and through experiences in and around one’s learning space. The program includes physical activity, math, language, sessions on general awareness, music, art & craft, storytelling etc. The KLAY curriculum has been re-aligned to meet the needs of a virtual classroom which is emerging as the ‘new normal’ for children across the country. The interactive classes are on for 4 days a week. There are classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday is dedicated to homework and the child will do offline activities independently or with the support of the parents, as per the age group. On Friday, the session is a recap of the week’s lessons. The duration of the session per day for toddlers is 1 hour and for preschoolers (Pre K, K1, K2) – 1.5 – 2 hours.

The program is available in a subscription-based payment model, allowing parents to pay monthly, quarterly or for the entire year, as per their convenience. Since the launch in June 2020, Learn@Home has over 2000 children on its platform across the country.

Speaking on the launch, AK Srikanth, CEO, KLAY Preschool and Daycare said, “It’s been established that we live in unprecedented times, and we, at KLAY, believe in consciously shaping the ‘new normal’ such that children thrive in it. The pandemic situation has not been easy for parents who are having to juggle multiple roles including full-time teacher and caregiver. With offices slowly opening up and schools still shut down, working parents will be adversely impacted. We launched Learn@Home to keep the learning going for children within the safety of their homes and hope that this will take some pressure off the parents. This is a step forward in the direction of our endeavour to support families through thick and thin”

The Learn@Home sessions are packed with fun, age-appropriate activities and are delivered on a secure platform. Hear more from the parents.

In the same spirit, the company has also launched KARE@Home – which provides personalized care and learning at the doorstep of families. Several teachers and caregivers are being equipped with comprehensive safety training and tools to be on the front lines to support families. Serving 100 children so far, the program also adopts a novel ‘social bubble‘ format where two/three families come together to provide children with the benefits of peer-peer learning and socialization.
