Under the campaign, the social enterprise will provide high-quality education and essential resources to the 100 million students at the bottom of the education funnel, according to a press release from the company.

With the sudden onset of online education around the country, there is a large group of students who are missing out because of the lack of resources. Most of them belong to low-income families and study in government or affordable private schools. To attain this goal, ConveGenius has collaborated with state governments of Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Goa etc. to reach a majority of students. The company also works with corporates, NGOs, and affordable private schools to offer personalized and adaptive learning methods that can be accessed anywhere and anytime.

ConveGenius is the #EdTechforNayaBharat as its hardware and connectivity agnostic platform is highly scalable with the lowest cost-per-student model addressing the mass market. The campaign is diverse as the platform is available in 9 vernacular languages and caters to 20+ curriculums followed by different schools and learning centers for quick and reliable execution.

Commenting on this noble mission, Mr. Jairaj Bhattacharya said,

“The campaign will impact the lives of a vast segment of the under-served population by providing them the benefits of internet technology and innovation to boost their learning process so they can compete with their privileged counterparts through equal resources. It will allow them in leading a prosperous life that will help them unlock more opportunities for their families by securing professional roles that suit their abilities and skills at best. We at ConveGenius, are wholeheartedly dedicated to ensuring the education revolution for each and every student in the country.”

ConveGenius was founded in 2013 by Jairaj Bhattacharya and Shashank Pandey and is all set to prepare for a new India where a student’s financial background does not determine their future. The edtech social enterprise aims to provide high-quality education to over 100 million students by 2030.

Speaking about the company and its plans in future, Shashank Pandey, Co-founder of ConveGenius, said,

“ConveGenius seeks to close the gap in educational achievement for children and youth in India through several impact-driven programs, affordable and scalable technology, and data-led innovation in education. In the long term, we plan to assist students financially by leveraging their learning data to provide them with scholarships and education loans. We will also provide skill and career assistance to students by integrating relevant vocational/skilling opportunities on the platform. The organization is dedicated towards nurturing the foundation of skilled professionals who are based in India yet prepared to take on the world.”

With over 560 million internet users, India has the second-highest number of internet users in the world. As an edtech enterprise, ConveGenius strives to empower the national skilling framework by strengthening the country’s 100 million students’ understanding of core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, etc. The company also plans to focus on emerging technological fields such as AI, Big Data, ML, etc. to support a globally committed workforce of the future.

No more a student, but love to learn. Not a teacher, but care about how students are taught. Not an educator, but want everyone to be educated. Not a social worker, but desire to see change. Not a reformer, but always want to see a better world. The author believes that only sound education can bring a better future, better world and technology can help achieve a lot in this field.
