STEPapp (Student Talent Enhancement Program Application) recently signed an MoU with Department of School Education in Tamil Nadu. This initiative will be implemented in government schools of Tamil Nadu with 10 lakh students from grades 6th-12th.  Through this association, STEPapp will enhance the students’ performance in school exams as well as in competitive exams. This will also enable schools to measure the students’ learning outcomes through dashboards. The content provided will be in  English language.

STEPapp is a unique gamified personalised application with adaptive learning content mapped to board syllabus for CBSE and ICSE. Its content is crafted by a team of 400+ IITians and doctors which will help students in conceptual clarity in math and science. The application’s content is segregated into pieces of information to allow students to grasp the concepts easily and to ensure that students are not burdened with a lot of information together. STEPapp, also provides a simplified testing methodology to track the progress of their children and identify strengths through dashboards.

The purpose of STEPapp is to become the Springboard for every child’s dreams and provide Universal Access to quality education for every child in India using technology & gamification, by creating a bank of meritorious children who will be the assets to our country.

Mr. Praveen Tyagi, Managing Director, Pace- IIT CEO and Founder, EduIsFun Technologies (STEPapp): “I would like to provide a heartfelt expression of gratitude to the Government of Tamil Nadu for appreciating our product – STEPapp and implementing it in the government schools for 10 lakhs students. We are a step closer towards reaching our mission of providing quality education to children across the country.”

About STEPapp

STEP (Student Talent Enhancement Program) is a revolutionary gamified learning application developed by a team of 400+ IITians and doctors. STEPapp believe that every child should be given a level playing field in accessing high-quality education at an affordable cost in a fun and engaging way to encourage optimal learning outcomes in students. It gamifies the math and science curriculum in India, mapped to the CBSE and ICSE boards, to help students learn and gain conceptual clarity in a fun format. The app is available in English, Hindi and Marathi. 10,000 students from each grade currently in 5th-11th will win prizes ranging from ₹ 5,000 to ₹1 crore from a total pool of ₹ 50 crores.

STEPapp is already implemented in 16 Eklavya Model Residential Schools run by the Tribal Development Department under the Maharashtra government. After successful trials, all Municipal Corporation schools in Andheri, Mumbai have agreed to run the STEPapp as part of the students’ learning process. 10 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and 29 NDMC Schools across India have been allotted for implementing STEPapp. STEPapp is also tested at some leading schools (GD Somani – Cuffe Parade, 7th Day Adventist –Ahmedabad, Vagad Pace Global School – Thane).
