Innovation Arabia 8 will provide a platform to exchange ideas, discuss trends, solutions and challenges in the development of sustainable economies and societies in the Arab World through innovation. The conference will take place from 16-18 February, 2015, at the Dubai Mall under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and President of HBMSU.

This year’s theme, ‘Innovate, Collaborate, and Differentiate: Honouring the Past, Treasuring the Present, and Shaping the Future,’ reflects the belief that innovation is the path towards growth, progress and a better tomorrow for the Arab World. Innovation Arabia will therefore help to unleash creativity and innovation in the MENA region.

Topics that will be discussed include: the new role e-Learning is playing in the growth of industries, the rise of Islamic banking and finance, how businesses can create a ‘culture of quality’ and how healthcare systems can meet the needs of rapidly growing populations.

The conference welcomes prestigious speakers from science, academia, business and finance to discuss the most exciting and important ideas and trends affecting the Arab World today. Keynote speakers this year include Dr. Farouk El Baz, Director of the Remote Sensing Program at Boston University; Gregory H. Watson, a thought leader in quality management and Chairman of Business Excellence Solutions; Eng. Sobhi A. Batterjee, President and CEO of Saudi German Hospitals Group; Hussain Al Qemzi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Noor Investment Group LLC and Dr. Alan Bruce, CEO and Director of Universal Learning Systems.

In addition, the conference will offer extensive networking opportunities, and a diverse range of workshops and sessions on issues such as the impact of Sukuk in developing UAE economy, facilitating e-Learning through social and collaborative methods in the 21st Century, and transfer and adoption of best practice in innovation.

Innovation Arabia 8 will bring together researchers, industry leaders from international organizations, local and  regional government entities, corporate sector representatives and NGOs, acting as a catalyst to exchange ideas,  best practices, and the creation of new solutions that will help shape the future of the Middle East and beyond.
