TED has reserved a separate section for education and it is termed as TED-ED. This platform enables users to watch and take many useful educational video, easily create a personalized lesson around the video. Users can also share TED-Ed lessons publicly or privately with anyone.

TED-ED lessons are very useful and are categorised into two categories. In the first category, TED-ED’s high-quality original lessons, collaboration between knowledgeable educators, animators and screenwriters. TED-ED clubs is a school-based flexible program that assists students in presenting and discussing their big and innovative ideas in the form of short TED-talks. If you are an educator and want to develop critical thinking and improve collaboration skill in students you can connect to TED-ED Clubs. Participating in TED-ED clubs stimulates creative ideas and innovation within them. This club connects group of educators and students of different background all across the globe. Since TED-ED Clubs is a school-based program, school heads can implement in their schools. So, if you are an educator and your students are aged between 8to 18, then you should join TED-ED Club; maximum of fifty students can meet at a time with a minimum of a organizer per club.

  • Encourage and celebrate creative ideas put forward by students worldwide.
  • To work with young minds of problem solvers, innovators, and critical thinkers.
  • To connect educators and groups of students from various background across the globe.
  • To give a platform to student’s creative ideas.
  • Encourage and support students in developing and improving public speaking skills and presentation. So that they can convey their ideas and imaginations to the world effectively.
