Is Voxer your New Communication App?

Voxer is a walkie-talkie that one can download in their smartphone to send and receive picture, voice and text messages from other people. Voxer is available on Android, Windows and iOS. The conversation using this app is chronological and enables users to stay connected to like-minded people.

Promising EdTech Startups Selected in the 2014 Pearson Catalyst Program

This year in Pearson Catalyst program over 200 startups from 34 countries had applied, and among these startups only ten were finally selected to take part in 2014. Over the course of three months these startups will get access to the Pearson resources and will work with the brand closely.

SIIA Releases 2014 Vision K-20 Survey Report

Survey highlights increasing need for technology in K-20 educational institutions. The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) releases the 2014 Vision K-20 Survey Report, its seventh annual national survey measuring U.S. educational institutions’ self-reported progress toward building a framework that embraces technology and e-learning.
The findings were presented at a press event during the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) conference. The report suggests that K-20 education institutions are striving for more digital educational goals, which are increasingly reached through Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies.
