Many kids feel difficulty in learning Math but nowadays technology is a boon to them. There are numerous apps and games that help kids learn Math with ease. In this article we’ve come up with a new app “Jack and the Beanstalk– a Mathematical Adventure”. Let’s learn about it.

Jack and the Beanstalk– a Mathematical Adventure is an awesome Math learning app which provides kids with a unique and fun way to learn and practice Mathematics. It is a story telling game which follows the story of Jack in the Beanstalk, however, within added math twists.

Quick Guide:

Jack and the Beanstalk is a game which revolves around the story of a courageous adventurer Jack. The player’s task is to help Jack on his journey. At key moments of the story, Jack asks for help. The player should use his/her mathematical skills to help Jack in overcoming the problems.

Once after opening this application, you can see three options: Start at the beginning, Continue last session and Go to a favorite page. As it’s a story-based game, kids get a story book feel while playing it. It has a nice illustration in the background as well as a narration done in the voice of a guy. While the story is running, the game takes you to solve some Math problems.

Example 1. The story appears to be like this “Jack sold the cow for $8 and the beans cost $5.25” and it asks you to drag the correct amount of money to old women’s purse from Jack’s wallet.

Example 2. The story appears to be like this “Beanstalk grew 3 feet every hour. How many feet did it grow in 4 hours?” The player’s task is to pull the bean stalk up to the right height which is measured on the scale adjacent to it. Kids find it very interactive.

After solving these Math problems, it takes you to the next part of the story. It’s a cool way of engaging kids with Math problems step by step while moving them in a story. It helps kids learn the basics of Math in a fun and interactive way. It becomes adventures as the player progresses through the story.  This is the basic information about the game Jack and Beanstalk. Let’s learn about its features quickly.
